Lola 15 months!
Very late to post this but here is an update on Lola at 15 months-
Talking- alot! Saying uh oh, Georgia, momma, dada, bye bye, hi, and using sign language for hungry, water, milk, and more. Such a communicator!
Playing- She had a really fun time with Grandpa and Grammy while Momma and Daddy went to Colorado. She now has a swing hanging from the deck that she loves. Lots of summer fun ahead!

Walking and Whistling
Where has the time gone? I have been so busy with the new job, time just flies. Lola is in a new daycare, The Canterbury School, right here in the neighborhood. It is a small center and her class only has 4 other kids the same age, emerging toddlers about to turn 1. Her teacher is Miss Rebecca and she loves her. When I picked her up the other day, I asked Rebecca how was Lola's day, what did she do, etc. And she said Lola had a busy day, just walking and whistling. That was so funny, it just stuck.
So she is in fact walking, has been since the first of Feb. The whistling has gone on for a while now, but it is still hilarious. And in addition to saying Mama, Dada, she has also learned the word "uh oh". She uses it in and out of context, but I am pretty sure she knows what it means.
1st birthday is around the corner. Time flies...

First Christmas, and Happy New Year!
Lola's first Christmas! And our last to not celebrate, at least in the commercial sense. We have put up a tree and sent cards in the past, but Kevin and I don't typically exchange presents or do much gift giving during this time. I have regarded the holidays as being overly commercial and over indulgent, especially when it comes to kids. I am told that will change in the future.
So Lola goes through another event oblivious (enjoy it kid while you can!), but she was aware that Rick and Patsy, Grandpa and Grammy came to visit. What fun! She also got a visit from Grand, E'Pa and Lauren Bohannan (Eddie's granddaughter, Jennifer's daughter, sweetie pie). It was Eddie and Lola's first meeting.
Good Christmas...
